Chapter Five - The Lighthouse part 4

"I really think this is one of the most beatiful romantic films ever made." Josh said.
"Yeah. It's really good." I said watching the film.
"So. About the film... If you found your Jamie... Would you marrie with the person?." Josh asked to me concerned.
"Yeah... Why not? I mean... If you know that is the one for you, I don't see why not." I said and looked deeply in his perfect blue eyes and said "Why you ask? Did you found your Jamie?" I said with sarcasm.
He laughed about it and just kissed me. We finished the film and as we said to each other we were crying as babys without their mums.

"So... What you wanna do now?" Josh asked.
"You know... I just wanna be with you..." I said kissing his lips.
"That's hard." He said laughing.
"Really?"
"I don't know... We'll have to try." He said looking at me.

Was really cold and the wind was hard out there, but in that moment nothing else matters to me... I was ok. I was felling safe. We were listen to Speed of Sound by Chris Bell, lying in the bed with a candle lighting up the room.
My heart was high at that moment.

We were kissing each other with such excitement that I was burning up. He take off his shirt and mine. He started kissing my belly and going lower.
"It's ok to you?" He asked.
"Yeah..." I said.

Waitress

Much like the films of Hal Hartley, Waitress is funny in a deadpan sort of way, but a sadness lurks below the surface. After making a splash in Hartley's The Unbelievable Truth and Trust, Adrienne Shelly turned to directing with Sudden Manhattan and I'll Take You There. Set in a small Southern town, her third picture revolves around waitress Jenna (Felicity's radiant Keri Russell), who works at Joe's Pie Diner (Joe is played by Andy Griffith). Jenna is the pastry genius who makes Joe's joint shine. Her co-workers include the forthright Becky (Cheryl Hines, Curb Your Enthusiasm) and insecure Dawn (Shelly). All three have man trouble, but Jenna has it the worst. Her husband, Earl (Jeremy Sisto, Six Feet Under), treats her like a piece of property. When she finds out she's pregnant, Jenna fears she'll be stuck with him forever. Then, she develops a crush on her married obstetrician, Dr. Pomatter (Nathan Fillion, Serenity). With the aid of her fanciful confections, like peachy keen tarts, their flirtation develops into a full-blown affair. It appears to be a no-win situation, but Shelly finds an empowering way to bring this bittersweet story to a close. If the candy-colored conclusion plays more like fantasy than reality, it's a fantasy worth embracing. Sadly, Shelly was murdered before Waitress ever saw the light of day (leaving behind a husband and child of her own). Fortunately, her final film is far more life-affirming than morose, although it does end with the word "goodbye." --Kathleen C. Fennessy.

This sweet film is so good! The cast is incredible and the story is something that lots of people live through. The search for your happines. I loved this film and the sadess thing is that the writer/director Adrienne Shelly was dead.
Everyone should see it! The original soundtrack is so good!

Safe Trip Home by Dido

I love Dido. She's one of my favorite singers.
After a while without a new cd she released her third album Safe Trip Home that in my opinion is her best at the moment! She's more mature now, and the songs are so good, and the cd ends in a incredible way with Northen Skies. The cd is also so beatiful, it's a digipack very nice. Here's my tip. A great cd to hear wherever you want.

Chapter Five - The Lighthouse part 3

I woke up and looked around and Josh wasn't there. I walked into the window and looked the sea, was raining and really cold. I went back to the bed with the laptop. I checked my e-mail but there was nothing there. I was starting felling odd there all by myself. I grab my cellphone to call my mum but there was no signal there. I turn on the TV and started watching SpongeBob Squarepants.

"Hey!" I heard someone yelling.
"Hum?" I said sleeper.
"I think you had enough time to sleep, don't you think?" The voice said that I started recognized. Was Josh.
"I felt sleep again as I woke up and there was no one here..."
"There's my fault, but it's for a good cause, see, I went to the market back town and bought us some real food." He said smiling.
"Thank you" I said smiling.
"But there's one condition" He said with sarcasm.
"Really? What?" I said smiling.
"You'll have to kiss me"
"Hum... I really have to? This is sooo horrible" - I said while I was walking to him.
"Don't say... I may have to try with a mirror" He said laughing.
"You can try on me.." And I kissed him.

"So, what you wanna show me that is only early morning" I asked him.
"Hey! No way. I'll not tell you. It's a surprise and I see you have a little problem with time." He said laughin.
"Hey! I can wake up early. You'll see" I said looking at him.
"All right!"
"So... I think I'll sleep as you want me to wake up so early"
"No way" He said and embraced me. "I thought we were going watch one film" He said looking in my eyes with his mercy face.
"I don't know,... What film?"
"A walk to remember?"
"Really? It's kind sad."
"Yeah. It is but is beatiful" He said and stopped for a minute and then continued "I don't know I just thought that it could be our film, or at least the first of our films, you know, with a great love story behind." He look so cute when he try to convince me of something.
"Ok, but I'll let you know... I cry all the time"
"Don't worry. Me too" And he kissed me rapidly.

The Jane Austen book club

An all star cast joins acclaimed director/writer Robin Swicord (writer - Little Women, Memoirs of a Geisha) in this critically acclaimed film Six Californians start a club to discuss the works of Jane Austen, only to find their relationships - both old and new - begin to resemble 21st century versions of her novels. Stars Kathy Baker (Cider House Rules), Maria Bello (A History of Violence), Emily Blunt (Devil Wears Prada), Amy Brennemen (Juding Amy), Jimmy Smits (Star Wars Episodes 1-3).

I won this film from my friend and everytime that I would watch it I took another one and this always was left from later. But yesterday I catch it and put it in my dvd player and started to watch and I have the most incredible experience! This film is so good! Is full with everything that happens every single day with each one of us. This film should be seen by everyone at least once in their lifes.
When the film ends, you start felling "A book club would be great". All the actors are great in the film, they seem not act but be the character, is absolutely fantastic!

Forgetting Sarah Marshall

Just this... awesome!

The Net

The Net, the first of Hollywood's big cyberthrillers of the mid-1990s, was also the most successful, thanks in large part to the natural appeal of star Sandra Bullock. Still riding high from Speed and While You Were Sleeping, Bullock plays a computer expert victimized by sinister cyberforces who steal her identity for reasons unknown. It's a clever combination of high-tech paranoia and Hitchcockian references (including Jeremy Northam as a romantic stranger named Devlin, after Cary Grant in Notorious). Film historians may look back someday on films like this--Roger Ebert calls them "hacksploitation"--to see what they reveal about our society's reaction to the increasing role of technology in our lives, just as we now study the fears of Communism and the atom bomb reflected in films of the 1950s. Dennis Miller and Diane Baker costar. --Jim Emerson

Is watching this "old" films that we see the films from this days aren't quite good as they used to be like ten years ago. This thriller with Sandra Bullock show this. You is surprised every time! So good! Is worth see it!

Across the Universe

Across the Universe, from director Julie Taymor, is a revolutionary rock musical that re-imagines America in the turbulent late-1960s, a time when battle lines were being drawn at home and abroad. When young dockworker Jude (Jim Sturgess) leaves Liverpool to find his estranged father in America, he is swept up by the waves of change that are re-shaping the nation. Jude falls in love with Lucy (Evan Rachel Wood), a rich but sheltered American girl who joins the growing anti-war movement in New York's Greenwich Village. As the body count in Vietnam rises, political tensions at home spiral out of control and the star-crossed lovers find themselves in a psychedelic world gone mad. With a cameo by Bono, Across the Universe is "the kind of movie you watch again, like listening to a favorite album." (Roger Ebert, Chicago Sun-Times)

This film is excellent! You watch it and you fell so good! The actors are great and the songs are even better! Great film everyone should see it!

Here's one of my favorite scenes!

A Bad Dream - Keane

Why do I have to fly over every town up and down the line?
I'll die in the clouds above and you that I defend, I do not love

I wake up, it's a bad dream, no one on my side
I was fighting but I just feel too tired to be fighting
Guess I'm not the fighting kind

Where will I meet my fate?
Baby I'm a man and I was born to hate
And when will I meet my end?
In a better time you could be my friend

I wake up, it's a bad dream, no one on my side
I was fighting but I just feel too tired to be fighting
Guess I'm not the fighting kind
Wouldn't mind it if you were by my side
But you're long gone, yes you're long gone now

Where do we go?
I don't even know my strange old face
And I'm thinking about those days
And I'm thinking about those days

I wake up, it's a bad dream, no one on my side
I was fighting but I just feel too tired to be fighting
Guess I'm not the fighting kind
Wouldn't mind it if you were by my side
But you're long gone, yes you're long gone now

Running with Scissors

Based on the personal memoirs of Augusten Burroughs, Running with Scissors is a excellent film. Different of everything you must have seen all these years. But is great! Everyone is shining on the film! Everyone should see this film because the message the film show you is what you need to move on. This scene for me is the best, when the song starts to play you start felling so good and then everything is magic!

I only know this film because my friend gave to me. He has a very good taste for films and this one is great!

Trailer:

Nights in Rodanthe

Nicholas Spark is defineletly a good romance writer. He can touch people very deep and his romances are always something to remember. Nights in Rodanthe is a great film. I loved but I still thinking what on earth Richard Gere is in the film. Maybe is me but I don't think he did a great job there. But after all the film is worth to see and have in your collection.

The sisterhood of the traveling pants films

This film based on the novels of Ann Brashares is so great! Full with laughters and joy. Discovering and how to deal with the future. All the four girls are perfect!

Chapter Five - The Lighthouse part 2

We kissed.

My heart was high and that moment was getting more unbelievable. He put his hand in my hair and then he got my hand and we lied in the bed. He stopped and looked at me - His face were so close to mine that he looked like an angel.
"I was so afraid you... I don't know, punch me or something like that" He said with his perfect crooked smile.
"Only if I was a fool" I said kissing him.
"So, what now?" He said looking to the ceiling.
"Well, what now what?" I said joking.
"You know... about us" He said.
"Hey, stop worrying, we have to live our lifes and don't worry what the world thinks. I'm happy with you, and if you are with me, so fuck the world. The only thing that matter for me is you."
"It's good know that you think this. You may think I'm lying but is true, and I say this because I really really fell this way." He said looking at me. "I love you"
The odd is that I love him too. And it may seems strange as we barely knew each other.
"You know what is weird?" I said.
"No" He said.
"I love you too" I said laughing.
"Very funny Dan."
"It's true. I love you. And I'm not worried if you love me or not. I love you"
"Hey you were listen when I said I love you first?"He said joking.
"Of course" I said smiling. "Anyways I love you"
"I love you too" He said.

We spent almost the entire day in the bed just talking. Knowing about each other. Sometimes he kissed me. And sometimes I did. I was in love. And the best thing is that Josh really loved me.

Chapter Five - The Lighthouse

I was amazed! It was so beatiful, the few I could see was perfect. The lighthouse seemed to have a hundred years. It was white with some details with blue and red. This was all I could see. I stared it a few more until Josh started to talk.

"So what you think?" He said hopeful.
"I'll be honest with you...Is absolutely beautiful!" I said looking to his crooked smile. "How do you know this place?" I asked curious.
"My father bought it a few years, the owner needed some money so he sold it out. My father told it was a gift to my mum but is hard to believe. I think he actually bought for him."
"Why?"
"Well, he sometimes says he need peace so I think he come here, but let's not talk about my father" He said laughing.
"All right"

He opened the door and took the bags inside the lighthouse and I followed him.
When you first look you just see a very mess. There was a sofa with some books above. Some chairs and clothes all over the place. And in the coner you see a little door and there the stairs to the "master room" like Josh says.
The stairs isn't too long but you came there very tired and sweaty.
After we came there I thought that they've left that room a mess on purpose. Believe me. If you walk in to stole something you ran way. Unlike the master room. The room was quite big, had a bed, very large. A TV, a dvd player, a radio, a laptop, a fridge, a range, and a table. All spread all over the place. And in the middle the lamp.
Josh said that he never saw this lighthouse working. "Too bad" He said.
We put the bags close to the table and we sat in the bed.

"So, you really liked here?" Josh said smiling.
"Of course!" I said.
"Well, I'm hungry. Do you wanna eat something?"
"Yeah. I brought snacks" I said. I got up and opened the bag and caught the snacks.
While I was there se started "So Dan... Do you have a girlfriend?"
"Nope" I said.
"Neither do I" He said.
We stood in silence for a minute and than he continued.
"I want to ask you something, but I want you to promise me that whenever the answer is, that you'll still my friend."
"Yeah" I said.
"So... I really like you" He said. He stopped and then continued "In a way... you know. More than just friends. When I saw you for the first time I knew that you were the one" He said looking at me concerned.
I get close to him and started looking him.His eyes were showing he was worried with what I was going to do I thought. Then I put my arms around him and said "Me too" then we kissed .

Paterson's Newbery-winning novel. Jess Aarons is eager to start fifth grade. He's been practicing his sprints all summer, determined to become the fastest runner at school. After this rather frustrating introduction, Jess and Leslie soon become inseparable. Together, they create an imaginary, secret kingdom in the woods called Terabithia that can be reached only by swinging across a creek bed on a rope.
